Classification
Item #: SCP-[...]; Containment Class: Safe (Easy); Clearance Level: 2 (Restricted); Disruption Class: Dark (Essentially inert and may potentially only affect a single individual); Risk Class: Warning (Moderate to significant effect)
Special Containment Procedures
SCP-[...] is to be contained in a standard document storage locker at Site-██. Testing is only permitted using D-Class personnel and must be conducted in a controlled environment with a minimum of two Level 2 or higher researchers present to monitor and record the effects. Following exposure, test subjects are to be administered Class-A amnestics to prevent long-term memory retention and reduce potential cognitive impairment.
Description
SCP-[...] appears to be a booklet containing a standard, unaltered version of the 20██ edition of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) test, a standardized assessment tool used to evaluate educational systems globally, covering mathematics, reading comprehension, and scientific literacy, with questions categorized into six levels of difficulty (Level 1 to Level 6).

When a human subject attempts to engage with SCP-[...], the test exhibits anomalous properties. Subjects perceive questions and answers from Level 2 and above as deceptively simple, but fundamentally incorrect or illogical. This distortion is not affected by the subject's prior knowledge or intellectual capacity. All answers that the subject will use beyond Level 1 will be marked as incorrect, making it impossible to achieve a passing score at or above Level 2, which is the threshold for "functional literacy".

Within 24 hours of prolonged exposure (defined as more than 1 hour of continous engagement with the test), subjects experience a significant deterioration in their understanding of language, mathematics, and science. Affected individuals exhibit a superficial understanding of these domains. This cognitive impairment is permanent and irreversible without targeted intervention, including intensive reeducation and cognitive rehabilitation protocols.
